What's Up at Light N Up? Monkey Art at Light N Up Artist Reception, Saturday. Oct 11 from 5-8pm. We’re excited to have some very special artists for a special fall exhibit! Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary is home to over 115 rescued monkeys – painting monkeys! Founder and president of Jungle Friends, Kari Bangall, will be here to discuss the history of Jungle Friends and why monkeys paint. The monkey art will be on display and available for purchase for the entire holiday season. Artist Reception, Sat. Nov 15 from 5-8. We’ll be celebrating the work of LNU artists Donna Baggett – Talquin Treasures (jewelry) and Barbara Mann (wood carvings). Both are inspired by Mother Nature which is evident in their work.
