Light N Up is a local art co-op located in
beautiful historic Havana, Florida.   We offer
a nice selection of pottery, jewelry,
photography, paintings, and much more
handcrafted by local artists.

Light N Up is the place to come in Havana
and greater Tallahassee area for unique,
high quality gifts at affordable prices.

We are pleased to be able to offer pottery

Historic Havana
Light N Up opened in October 2005 with 10
artists and now have about 30 artists with
work for sale. As a co-op, our shop is
staffed and financially supported by our
member artists.

Havana is a small community with a wonderful
historic shopping district with over 20 shops
offering a variety of products.   Havana is
known as an art and antique haven.

What's Up at Light N Up?

CIRCUIT TRAINING CLASSES Fridays 8:30am!
Cardiovascular and strength training combined for efficient
and effective workout in one hour!    Instructor Joy Green.

ICAN Summer Art Program
Thanks to the generous contributions of LNU patrons, ICAN
coordinator Shirley Aaron, Gadsden County schools, and the hard
work of Virginia Coultas and other volunteers, 15 Havana elementary
school children have attended a summer art program at Light N Up.

The kids have had a chance to work with clay, paint, make a piece of
gourd art, take photos, and enjoy some wonderful snacks.

Thanks to all the artists and volunteers who have helped make this
possible!

Guest Artist Reception, Sat. June 14 from 5-8.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate the work of Virginia Coultas
(clay and acrylic painting), the jewelry artists from Lizette's and
Guest Artists LNU Students Mary Bess, Betsy Sellers, Danna Sue
Hadsock,
Katlyn Anderson (clay), and Judy Davis, Jackie Weenink, Cheri
Sepesy (water media).

New format for LNU Classes
Summer is such a busy time for everyone, we’re changing the format
of our classes. Rather than schedule 8 week classes, we’ll have
“ongoing” classes so that students can join at any time as long as
seats are available in the class. You can choose to pay for 4 weeks
of classes at a time or “pay as you go”.   Most classes will take
breaks to give instructors time off, too.

All of our classes are open to artists of all skill levels.

Seeking Artists !!!

Artists interested in joining the co-op can complete the
application and drop it off at the shop or email it to
lightnupartistco@bellsouth.net. Samples of your priced work
are required for final acceptance into the co-op.

The Light N Up classroom and pottery studio are perfect
spaces for your class or meeting.   Call for rates.
